What happens after a subscription ends
Last updated 14 October 2026
When a subscription ends, whether you cancelled or a payment kept failing, a clock starts. You can stop it at any point by choosing a plan again in Billing.
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| 0 | Your feed, episodes and website keep serving exactly as before. You cannot create or upload anything new. We email you. |
| 14 and 27 | Reminder emails. |
| 30 | Your feed, episodes and website go offline. Podcast apps show the episodes as unavailable. |
| 83 | A final warning email. |
| 90 | Your episode files are deleted: audio, video, transcripts and chapter files. Your account, show details, cover art and episode texts stay, so you can come back and upload again. |
The dashboard shows the exact dates for your account in a notice bar for the whole period.
Coming back
Choose a plan in Billing. Before day 90 everything comes back online within a minute. After day 90 the episode files must be uploaded again; the episodes are waiting as drafts with their notes and artwork.
Leaving for another host
Set the feed redirect under Moving to another host in Show settings before the subscription ends. The redirect keeps working after your account lapses, so your subscribers follow you to the new host.
