Removing a podcast
Last updated 14 October 2026
Removing a podcast deletes it: its feed, its website, every episode with its audio, video and artwork, its stats, its sponsor messages, its subscriber feed and the people on it. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
Before you remove
- Moving to another host? Set the feed redirect first (Show settings, Moving to another host). The redirect keeps working after the podcast is removed, so your subscribers follow you.
- Want a copy? Download anything you need first. Each episode's file can be downloaded from the episode screen.
How to remove
- Open the podcast and click Show settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, to Remove this podcast.
- Type the podcast's feed slug (the short name at the end of its feed address, shown on the screen) to confirm, then click Remove this podcast for good.
The feed address stays reserved so that nobody else can ever take it. Copies of removed content are erased from our systems within 7 days, as described in the privacy policy.
Closing your account
Remove your podcasts, cancel your plan in Billing, and email hello@podmaniac.com to have the account closed.
