Changing or cancelling your plan

Everything here is done in Billing (your name at the top right, then Billing).

Moving up

Click Switch to on the bigger plan. The change takes effect at once, and the difference for the time left in your current period is charged to your card now. The same applies to changing from monthly to yearly billing.

Moving down

Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing is charged or credited. Billing shows a "Plan change booked" box with the date, and a Stay on button if you change your mind before then.

A smaller plan has to fit your account first. If you have more podcasts, more people on a show, a custom domain or running sponsor messages than the smaller plan allows, the switch is refused with a message saying what to remove. Nothing is ever switched off by surprise.

Cancelling

Click Cancel at the end of the period. You are not charged again, your podcast keeps serving until the end of the period you paid for, and a Keep my plan button undoes the cancellation at any point before then. What happens afterwards is in What happens after a subscription ends.

Moving to another host

You own your podcast and can take it anywhere. In Show settings, under Moving to another host, enter your new feed address. Your Podmaniac feed address then redirects there, and keeps doing so even after your subscription ends, so your subscribers follow you.
