Sponsor messages: placing your own sponsor audio in your episodes

From the Smart plan up, Podmaniac can insert a short audio file into your episodes as listeners download them: a sponsor read, a trailer for another show, an announcement. The episode files themselves never change, so you can swap or stop the message at any moment and every episode, past and future, follows within a minute.
Step 1. Upload the message
Click Ads in the header. Under the library, upload the audio file (any format; it is converted to match your episodes so the join is clean). Keep messages short: 15 to 60 seconds is usual.
Step 2. Start a campaign
Choose the message, where it plays (start, middle or end of the episode), which episodes it applies to (all, one, or a selection), and optional start and end dates. For the middle placement, Podmaniac finds the quietest moment near the midpoint of each episode on its own, or you can set a time.
Rules
- Up to three campaigns can run at once; campaigns in the same placement play one after another.
- A running campaign cannot be edited: stop it, then start a new one.
- Messages are inserted into MP3 audio episodes. Subscriber only episodes and YouTube videos never carry them.
- You are responsible for what a message says and for any disclosure rules that apply to sponsored content where you publish.
